I am confident that this was not intentional as this Credit Union practices certainly practices Christmas traditions. Our staff forfeited the practice of giving gifts to each other in the office with a monetary donation to a local family in need. We have spearheaded the collection of food bank items and shared time slots with the local Salvation Army church at their collection stations. We have erected Christmas trees in all our branches and most recently provided our staff with Christmas Eve off so they can attend services, spend time with their family or volunteer. I can also say with confidence that our Credit Union does not engage in social responsibility items because its politically correct. We do it because its our culture and we want people to work with this organization that have these beliefs and showcase them in their behaviors. <br />Thank you again for your comments, please feel free to contact me at (709) 695-7064 for a further discussion if required.
